What is oral cancer?
Oral cancer is cancer found in the oral cavity (the mouth area, including teeth, lips, gums and cheeks) and the oropharynx (the throat area at the back of the mouth). Each year, more than 35,000 cases of oral cancer are diagnosed in the United States.
