Description: Occupational therapy programs are provided for post-traumatic and acute hand injuries.
Services: Advanced hand rehabilitation, treatment of acute hand injury and post-surgical hand trauma
Outpatient Occupational Therapy:
- General: Arthritis, joint problems and activities of daily living
- Hand Therapy Recovery from hand surgery or hand injuries
After receiving a physician's referral, each patient is evaluated and based on this evaluation, a plan of treatment and goals specific to that patient are established.
For most patients, treatment may include:
- varieties of exercise and activities of daily living
- adaptive equipment training
- splinting
- functional mobility
- lifestyle adaptation/redesign.
Accreditation/Honors: All of our Occupational Therapists have degrees in Health Science or Orthopedics at the Masters level and are certified by the state of Indiana.
