”The future depends on what we do in the present.” Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was a man who dedicated his life to helping those individuals with the greatest of needs. While we certainly have no illusions of equaling the accomplishments and acclaim of Gandhi, we strive, as well, to impact those in need. Whether patients, neighbors, or fellow employees, our mission is to provide compassionate and caring service to individuals in our community. As an employee of St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers, you can be proud knowing you and your co-workers are touching the lives of others.
Last year through the annual employee campaign, St. Francis Healthcare employees raised over $350,000 benefiting various programs and services of St. Francis Hospital. This year we have set our goals even higher, keeping pace in meeting the growing needs of the hospital, as well as the needs of our employees.
What does this mean to you, the St. Francis employee? It means once again, you have the opportunity to help others, including offering financial assistance to employees in a time of crisis. You not only can support, but benefit from programs such as the Employee Emergency Fund and the Employee Education Endowment, which awards dollars to employees who wish to grow professionally. In addition, St. Francis employees may choose to assist us in our effort to fund and build a freestanding Hospice House on the Indianapolis Campus.
To make a gift is simple and the amount is totally up to you. Most importantly, please remember that no matter the size of your gift, your generosity will benefit the lives of others.
