Author and speaker Mellanie True Hills is our special guest for this program about atrial fibrillation, a condition where the heart beats irregularly and can be fatal if severe. Afib affects more than 5 million people in the U.S., and that numbers is expected to triple in 40 years.
Cardiologist John “Trey“ Moore, M.D., and cardiothoracic surgeon Marc Gerdisch, M.D. will discuss the current medical and surgical treatments offered at St. Francis Heart Center for this condition.
