The HLA-Vascular Biology Laboratory at St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers is accredited by The American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) for high complexity testing, the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for antiphospholipid antibody testing and maintains Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification. Our CLIA license permits intra- and interstate transit of blood samples.

The HLA-Vascular Biology Laboratory participates in the Proficiency Survey Programs of the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogentics (ASHI), the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the UCLA International Cell Exchange.
