The Franciscan Spine Center's mission is to provide comfort and care to all persons experiencing spinal pain. The staff makes use of the latest technologies to locate, diagnose and treat the causes and symptoms of spinal pain. It provides non-operative, minimally invasive treatments.

The Franciscan Spine Center works with orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgeons to offer the complete spectrum of operative and non-operative spine care.

The treatment process begins with a single phone call from a referring physician. The partient is evaluated to see whether surgery is expected or imminent. Most cases do not require surgery and are directed into a program of conservative, cost-effective treatment supported by research.

• Intercostal nerve blocks
• Cervical and lumbar nerve root blocks
• Peripheral nerve injections
• Radiofrequency ablation (rhizotomy)
