James P. Nicolai, M.D.
 James P. Nicolai, M.D., is accepting new patients.
Dr. James Nicolai is is the medical director of the Franciscan Center for Integrative Health.
He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed fellowship training in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson. A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Nicolai studied under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil, a best-selling author and world-renowned leader in the field of integrative medicine. Dr. Nicolai is also program director of the Executive Lifestyle Assessment Program at the Indianapolis Conrad’s Spa Chakra. In the past, he has worked as medical and editorial advisor for the Ask Dr. Weil web site. He continues to do consulting work on the implementation of integrative medicine into health care systems.
Dr. Nicolai is a popular local speaker and a frequent expert cited by local media. In 2005 he was recognized with the Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty under 40 Award, which recognizes up and coming professionals in the Indianapolis community.
