William J. Berg, M.D., FACC, FSCAI

Dr. William Berg specializes in coronary and peripheral interventional cardiology. He is the director of Medical Oversight at the St. Francis Heart Center and the medical director of the St. Francis Heart Center Cardiovascular Lab.

A native of Clinton, Iowa, Dr. Berg joined Indiana Heart Physicians in 1990. He completed his undergraduate degree at DePaul University in Chicago and earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. Dr. Berg completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. There he served as Chief Resident from 1988-89 and completed his fellowship in cardiology in 1990.

He was named to Indianapolis Monthly magazine's “Top Doctor's” list in interventional cardiology in 2009.

Dr. Berg is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
